Henry Bloch is the co-founder and honorary chairman of the board of H&R Block, which he and his brother, Richard, founded in 1955. Tom Bloch, son of Henry ascended to CEO in 1992 but he quickly found unfulfilling. After much soul-searching, Tom resigned in 1995 to become an middle school math teacher. He later co-founded the University Academy, a public charter school where he continues to teach.
