Philosophy deals with the big questions of life, such as, “Why are we here?” and “What is our purpose?” When turned towards software testing, those questions might become: “What is the purpose of testing? What should I be testing? Why automate?” For this workshop, Ken Halford of PeopleAdmin joins us to sort out the mysteries of code life.
TOPICS
* The role of software testing
* Quality assurance vs. testing vs. debugging
* The seven principles of testing
* Understanding risk — when have you tested enough?
* When and what to automate
