Valerie Jennings – Panelist – Valerie Jennings is the CEO and founder of two digital marketing agencies JSMM+VBM. She started her first company at the age of 24 in Overland Park, Kan. in 2003 and is an early adopter in social media since 2005. She is also an investor in Betablox, one of the largest startup incubators in Kansas City, was Kansas City’s Most Wanted Honoree in 2015 for her business achievements, mentorship and philanthropic contributions to the community. Simon Kuo – Moderator – Simon Kuo, Ph. D. has been an active entrepreneur and investor since 2008. He has been a partner at Betablox since 2012, a mentor at SparkLab KC and prior to joining the startup community was a Fortune 60 to 300 executive.
