This will be our 2nd go at Coworking Wednesdays – Intentional Collisions! Once a month, the Sprint Accelerator will organize a themed Coworking Wednesday; bringing together people interested in similar subjects and/or working towards common goals. The space will be open 9 AM to 4:30 PM with a talk at 11:00 AM.
This time, our theme is … Digital Inclusion! We have so many great individuals and organizations working towards this goal in KC – let’s get us all together!
Join us for a talk led by:
– Cheptoo Kositany-Buckner, Deputy Director of the KC Public Library and KC STEM Alliance Board Member
– Rick Deane, Co-Founder of Connecting for Good
– Deana Ervin, Executive Director, WEB DuBois Learning Center
The talk will begin at 11:00 AM and there will be time for Q&A and open discussion to follow!
Everything else you’ve come to know and love about Coworking Wednesdays will work the same, except you’re more likely to have a reason to collaborate with the people in the room. The upstairs space will be open from 9:00am-4:30pm for you to work in an open and collaborative space individually or with your team, while hearing what others are working on in your area of interest. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a new cofounder, collaborative partner, support resource or brilliant idea!
And remember… everyone is welcome. Come for a few hours or stay all day. Join us after 1 Million Cups!
This event is for you if:
– You’re interested in narrowing the KC digital divide or you currently work within Digital Inclusion initiatives
– You enjoy collaboration and an open and motivating work environment
– You would like to encourage the #KC momentum
– You get energized by brainstorming with intelligent people
We look forward to seeing you there!
