It’s time for another session of Intentional Collisions and this time we’ll be tackling Conversational Interfaces, an MIT 2016 Top 10 Breakthrough Technology!
Intentional Collisions is an ongoing program, where Sprint Accelerator organizes a themed & condensed coworking day; bringing together people interested in similar subjects and/or working towards common goals. These people need to know each other and can certainly find ways to collaborate!
So what are conversational interfaces anyway? Companies like Apple, Facebook and Slack live within this world, but why should we be interested in this new tech? Think Siri, Cortana, Alexa, Slackbot and Instant Messenger – we’re already surrounded. Essentially, conversational interfaces understand the natural language of human users, either through text or voice. This eliminates the need for us to know how to speak or command the machines and pivots to a world where the machines learn how we speak and how to speak to us! The event will run from 10 AM to 2 PM with a guided talk relating to Conversational Interfaces and leading to many “intentional collisions”. Basically, we’ll solve all the world’s problems!
Block Labs (of H&R Block) has generously offered to provide FREE pizza for those in attendance starting at 11:30, so be sure to thank them! Additionally, they will lead a discussion and panel around the topic of Conversational Interfaces.

1:00 – 2:00 PM – Talk should be wrapped up, but collisions should keep going! Be sure to swap info and contacts!
