During the eighth annual Global Entrepreneurship Week, Kansas City joins communities in more than 140 countries to host activities that help entrepreneurs explore their potential.
Founded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
Kansas City consistently has been among the leading cities for GEW events. In 2014, the metro was home to 86 activities hosted by 85 organizations that drew more than 7,000 participants.
With activities planned by several local organizations, there’s something for everyone. Education, networking and collaborative events give aspiring entrepreneurs and experienced business people an opportunity to share in the spirit of entrepreneurship.
