The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), in collaboration with the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE), are hosting the fifth annual Midwest Symposium on Social Entrepreneurship May 15-16, 2017 at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center (4801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, Missouri) and Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (5108 Cherry Street, Kansas City, MO 64110).
The Symposium begins with Opening Remarks at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, May 15, followed by morning and afternoon workshops, as well as presentations at a luncheon, all at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center. The Tuesday, May 16 schedule includes morning workshops, a luncheon panel, and, in the afternoon, a social venture business plans presentation event featuring several entrepreneurial initiatives developed by students participating in The Aaron L. Levitt Social Entrepreneurship Challenge. The Tuesday, May 16 workshops and events will take place at the Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
