This year’s event will feature 2 speaker tracks, a Lockpick village and the newly announced Open Hacking Village. OHV provides a free, legal environment hackers to tinker around in. OHV includes 3 villages: IoT hacking, car hacking and enterprise hacking.

Every attendee will receive a T-shirt, swag, lunch, and beer.

BSidesKC is an Information / Security conference that’s different. We’re a 100% volunteer organized event, put on by and for the community, and we truly strive to keep information easily accessible.

Presenters at our conference are engaging our participants and getting the discussions started on the “Next Big Thing”, not preaching at you from the podium about last month’s news. There are no “attendees” at a BSides event. EVERYONE is a participant, adding something of value to the conversations.

BSidesKC 2017 will be hosted at Think Big Coworking. Think Big shares a common goal of bringing like minded people together for communication, collaboration and spawning the “Next Big Thing”.
