Come join us Saturday for a day of hacking on the latest AR/VR technology! Teams (2-3 members per team recommended) are welcome to come spend the day hacking away on a new idea or improving on existing app all while enjoying food and drink with fellow coders. HoloLens, VR, and developer assistance will be provided, but participants are welcome and encouraged to bring devices from home and share their knowledge on developing in AR/VR. This is a friendly hackathon focused on building up new skills in an emerging technology; any team that want to demo at the end of the day is more than welcome to share!
There will be a development environment set up Friday evening before we kick off the hackathon to help get everyone’s software and hardware ready to go for the event. We will also have speakers kicking off the night talking about the perks and drawbacks of developing for AR/VR. Developers experienced in .NET/Hololens development will be present to help with setup.
Lunch and dinner will be provided during the hackathon. It is highly encouraged that you complete basic tutorials before the hackathon to get the most out of the day. This event is free and we hope to see you there! Reserve a ticket today to guarantee a spot at the event.
Sponsored by Microsoft, the KVCR Meetup and Windows Holographic User Group Kansas City. A huge thank you to Google Fiber for hosting this event at their location!
